LEGO's Godzilla set is £349.99 from 27 November, with a free gift but no price cut announced

What LEGO actually announced

The headline doing the rounds says Godzilla leads LEGO's Black Friday promotions. The source behind it is LEGO's own press release, dated 3 November 2026 from Billund, which unveils the LEGO Ideas Godzilla (21375) set.

LEGO calls it "the largest LEGO Ideas model ever launched", with 5,363 pieces. It says the built model "stands over 70cm (27.5 in) tall when posed with its Heat Ray", and gives its other dimensions as 27cm wide and 40cm long. The head, arms, legs and tail are posable.

LEGO describes it as a "Black Friday exclusive set". The reveal was timed for the LEGO Group's Black Friday and Cyber Monday kick-off event on 3 November, with a livestream that has already happened.

The price, and when you can buy it

LEGO says the set "will be available from 27 November 2026 via LEGO.com/Godzilla and LEGO Stores, priced at £349.99". Its product information lists the RRP as £349.99 too.

So the price is the full launch price. Nothing in LEGO's announcement mentions a discount on the set itself: the Black Friday part is the timing and the gift that comes with it. That doesn't rule out a later offer, but LEGO hasn't announced one.

This week, the set isn't on sale yet. The release names LEGO.com and LEGO Stores as where it will be sold. It doesn't say whether other shops will stock it, or when, so we haven't been able to compare a shop price, and we won't guess one.

What the free gift is, and the small print

LEGO says "shoppers who purchase the new set between 27 – 30 November 2026" via LEGO.com/Godzilla or LEGO Stores "will receive the LEGO Ideas Godzilla Logo and Footprint set (40888) as a Gift with Purchase".

It is a 359-piece build: the Godzilla logo against a city backdrop, with Mothra on one of the buildings, plus a brick-built footprint. LEGO's notes give its dates as "27 November – 30 November or whilst supplies last".

There is no separate spend threshold. LEGO's notes say: "Shoppers will receive this gift when purchasing the new LEGO® Ideas Godzilla (21375) set, while supplies last." In other words, the gift comes with buying the Godzilla set itself, not with any order of the same value.

Two things to keep in mind. First, "while supplies last" means the gift can run out before 30 November; LEGO doesn't say how many there are. Second, the release only promises it through LEGO.com and LEGO Stores.

Who this set is for

LEGO's product information gives the Godzilla set an age mark of 18+, and the gift set is marked 18+ as well. LEGO describes the gift as a building set "for adults".

If you're shopping for a child who loves dinosaurs or monsters on screen, this isn't the set LEGO designed for them. Our LEGO sets by age guide sorts the sets that suit younger builders.

For an adult fan, it is a big display piece. At 70cm tall it needs a shelf or sideboard with room to spare, which is worth checking before Christmas morning.

What's on LEGO.com this week instead

LEGO's UK offers page lists two other gifts with purchase right now, separate from Godzilla. One is a small gift set listed with the words "Spend over £115 to unlock this gift", ending on 8 November 2026.

The other, a Venetian Water Taxi, is listed as "Unlock when purchasing Venetian Neighbourhood", ending on 20 November 2026. Both were on the LEGO.com sales and deals page when we read it on 4 November 2026.

Neither has anything to do with the Godzilla set, which can't be bought until 27 November. Gift offers like these change often, so check the page on the day you order.

What it means for your shopping

You don't need to do anything this week. The set isn't on sale, and there's no early order route in LEGO's announcement.

If you were planning to buy it anyway, buying from LEGO.com or a LEGO Store between 27 and 30 November is the way LEGO says you get the gift. If the gift doesn't matter to you, nothing in LEGO's announcement gives a reason to buy on Black Friday rather than later.

If £349.99 is more than you planned to spend on one present, that's a perfectly good reason to skip it. A big launch with a free extra isn't the same as a bargain.
