Birthday reminders
If you ask for a birthday reminder, we store:
- the first name you give for the person (for example "Ella"),
- their birthday as a day and month (no year), and the age they're turning if you add it,
- your email address,
- the page you signed up on, the site that sent you there and any campaign tags in the link (utm_source and the like), and the time you signed up.
We use these only to email you before each birthday with gift ideas. We don't sell them or share them with brands. The reminders go through our own system, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. You can stop the emails with the link in each one, or email us to have everything deleted. We delete reminders you no longer want.
Reminders aren't being sent yet: we're keeping the birthdays you add safe until they start.
Analytics
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. What you type into a search box is never sent.
Shops and affiliate links
When you click through to a shop, that shop (and Amazon or Awin, for affiliate links) may set its own cookies to know the sale came from us. Their own privacy notices apply there.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., whose servers keep standard logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time for security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to its use. Email us and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
